Legal — Data Processing
Privacy notice.
This notice explains what personal data Bayes Research BV processes when you use the contact form on this website, why, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Last updated: 30 July 2026.
01 — Controller
Who is responsible
Bayes Research BV, Amsterdam, Netherlands, is the data controller for personal data collected through this site. For any privacy question or request, contact hello@bayesresearch.nl.
02 — Data
What we collect
When you submit the contact form we process the name, email address, and message content you provide, together with technical metadata required to prevent abuse (your IP address is used transiently for rate limiting and bot verification).
We do not add you to a mailing list. Your details are used only to handle your enquiry.
03 — Purpose & basis
Why we process it
We process your contact details to read and respond to your message, and to send you an automatic confirmation of receipt. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given via the checkbox on the form. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.
04 — Processors
Who we share it with
Email delivery is handled by Brevo (Sendinblue SAS), acting as a processor on our behalf, and this site is hosted on Vercel. Bot protection is provided by Cloudflare Turnstile. These providers process data only as needed to deliver their service. We do not sell personal data.
05 — Retention
How long we keep it
We retain contact messages only as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and any follow-up, after which they are deleted. Abuse- prevention metadata is short-lived and expires automatically.
06 — Your rights
What you can ask for
You have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). To exercise any of these rights, email hello@bayesresearch.nl.
